Faecal Egg Counts
Worming is widely recommended to be performed regularly at certain time intervals or at particular times of year. This can lead to the worms becoming resistant to the wormers you are using, worming may not be necessary.
We offer faecal egg counts – a quantitative measure of the worm burden in your horse. Below a certain threshold, worming is not necessary at that particular time.
Should you wish for your horse’s faeces to be examined, please contact the clinic.
