Our vets are no strangers to complicated medical cases. Often much of the important information in getting to the bottom of a sickness comes from taking a good history from you, the owner, and also performing a thorough physical examination.
We are also very fortunate to have a number of in clinic resources at our disposal to perform diagnostic tests. These include:
- In house Idexx Blood and SediVue urine machines
- In house urinalysis, wet prep and urine culture
- Cytology of urine, lumps and ears
- Imaging – radiology and ultrasonography
- Endoscopy
The size of our practice also means a second, third or fourth opinion for your animal is never far away. We are also very fortunate to have a veterinary pathologist on staff who can provide a more specialised interpretation to test results than your average general practitioner.
Our brand new hospital is fully equipped to provide your pet with the highest standard of care during their hospital stay. We always welcome visits from owners, provided it is in the best interest of your pet’s recovery.
